Did not listen, but an arch Zionist like Ben will have a very different understanding of the situation -to the Right leaning like me who want the end of horrific wars for political and money making purposes, and think America should do what is right for its own people instead of AIPAC and Israel. He may be on the Right, but a very particular branch of it. In fact this kind of way is going to help break the Right up.
I don’t agree with Ben on all issues but lean his way on many. Overall, an honest and refreshing discussion with Freddy. Praise for some areas and fair criticism of other areas where Trump has disappointed.
I think it’s wonderful that the right can have these open discussions – it just goes to show how unifying President Trump has been across the political spectrum; from the left (unions, free trade sceptics), the centre (gender, cultural norms) and the right (small government, free speech, libertarians, religious).
I doubt we will see this phenomenon again in my lifetime.
