I gleaned that mankind may have a “fundamental conflict-oriented worldview.” and when all else fails their political efforts devolve into an existential ‘us vs. them’ argument. Just such a worldview may have been recently demonstrated. And further, Christianity may balance or perhaps suppress this worldview. Very Calvinist!
