Keir Starmer has postponed his vacation to deal with the riots. He’s even worked on a Friday night to try and find a solution to the chaos. And yet, the American public isn’t too happy with his performance.
According to a YouGov poll, Americans think Keir Starmer is handling the 2024 riots poorly by 49% to 31%. Unsurprisingly, 88% of Reform voters think he is doing poorly, while a substantial 24% of Labour voters agree. Although, they probably disagree on why he is doing poorly.

In other findings, by 52% to 34% Americans say the police have handled the recent riots well, but most Reform UK voters disagree. Worryingly, a combined 58% of Americans either have no confidence or not a lot of confidence that the police can defend and protect people and property from further unrest.
